Giving to Peace Valley
As a public charter school, Peace Valley Charter School receives significantly less funding than traditional neighborhood public schools. This gap affects our ability to provide all the high-quality materials and programs that are essential to a Waldorf-inspired education.
At Peace Valley, we hold high standards for our curriculum and use carefully selected, high-quality materials in every classroom. This includes supplies for main lesson work as well as specialty and enrichment classes such as art, handwork (knitting and sewing), gardening, movement, and more. These materials are a vital part of how our students learn, create, and thrive.
To help bridge the funding gap, we fundraise throughout the year. Our Fund the Gap Campaign runs during the school year to support programs and supplies that are not fully covered by public funding.
Families are invited to contribute a specific annual school supply donation, and many also choose to support Peace Valley through recurring donations (monthly or quarterly) or by participating in our community fundraising events throughout the year. These events include:
-
Harvest Faire
-
Book Fairs
-
Read-A-Thon
-
Spring Gala & Auction
-
May Faire
You can find more details about each event under the Giving tab dropdown menu.
