Fill in as a classroom teacher, guiding students and following lesson plans to keep learning on track.
Peace Valley seeks a creative, skillful class teacher who loves children, enjoys working with parents, and is committed to working with colleagues. Peace Valley is looking for teachers who are lifelong learners and passionate about developing children who are eco-literate, compassionate, and critical thinkers. As a member of the Peace Valley Charter School faculty, you will be joining a group of individuals whose foundation in pedagogy is based on the Waldorf School approach, guided by the principles taught by Rudolf Steiner and by the Core Tenets of Public Waldorf Education.
Our faculty, individually and as a group, engages in ongoing professional development, study, and self-renewal, which informs and enhances the artistic, academic, and social capacities necessary for bringing the content and delivery of our lessons to the children out of a deep understanding of the curriculum with creativity and enthusiasm.
Teachers in the lower grade levels will loop with their class from 1st - 5th grades with an option to loop through 8th grade.
Teachers in the upper grade level will loop with their class from 6th - 8th grades.
